Assumption of Risk

Basketball training, camps, clinics, and tournaments involve physical activity and contact, including running, jumping, cutting, and competitive play. These activities carry inherent risks of injury, including sprains, strains, fractures, concussions, and in rare cases more serious injury. By registering, the participant and their parent or legal guardian acknowledge these risks and voluntarily choose to participate in programs offered by AATW Academy (All About The Work).

Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the participant and their parent or legal guardian release, waive, and agree not to sue AATW Academy (All About The Work), its owner, coaches, staff, volunteers, and facility partners for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation in any training session, camp, clinic, tournament, or related activity, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Medical Treatment and Emergency Care

The participant confirms they are physically able to take part in basketball activities and will disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or limitations at registration. In the event of an injury or medical emergency, AATW Academy (All About The Work) is authorized to provide or obtain first aid and emergency medical treatment, including transport to a medical facility. The participant or their parent or legal guardian is responsible for any resulting medical costs.

Conduct and Facility Rules

Participants are expected to follow coach instructions, respect other players and staff, and follow all facility rules. AATW Academy (All About The Work) may remove any participant whose conduct is unsafe or disruptive, without refund. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings, and AATW Academy (All About The Work) is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

Photo and Video Release

AATW Academy (All About The Work) may take photos and video during sessions, camps, and events. The participant and their parent or legal guardian grant AATW Academy (All About The Work) permission to use these images and recordings for training, promotional, website, and social media purposes without compensation. To opt out, contact Coach Jay in writing before the session or event.
